My Child

Whom do you stare at

With this steady gaze of yours?

What dreams do your eyes hold?

What in your mind lures?

The purest of pure

Softer then the rarest silk

With eyes that twinkle with innocence

And yawning lips so pink

These tiny little fingers

That so trustingly you curl around mine

A touch so gentle

A feeling so perfect so devine

The sweetest of all angels

God’s greatest creation on earth

Blessed is the feeling I have

Your mother ,who gave you birth

This moment I will never forget

A once in a lifetime bliss

Sleep tight my sweet everything

A lifetime of happiness to you I wish

Change

Change

I cant hold onto now

For tomorrow is sure to come

Bring with it

Another day to be done

The sand is slipping

As the night befalls

Another chapter ends

While another one calls

Time stops for no man

And so it shall be

“Accept” each day

For that is the key

Take me Wings of Change

Through life’s twists and turns

And onwards I must go

Ahead… with no return…

Loneliness

Me, Myself is all there is

In this world of many

My body and soul is all I have

To give each other company

Talk to my shadow

Words of the past

Of people and of places

Which never did last

Stare at the mirror

It is the only face I see

Sparing the pictures on the wall

That are now history

Listen to the silence

Blocked in these four walls

Laughter, cries, talks, whispers

Nothing remains, nothing at all

Breathing this solitary existence

Wilting away with every breath

Struggling this mundane existence

While alone I await death

 Heroes

Where are all the heroes

Who swore to their lives

To protect and defend

Their lives they’d strive

Where are all the warriors

Who fought for the right

Till the last drop of blood

The righteous battle they’d fight

Where are all the men

Who stood strong and brave

Withstanding the waves of invasion

Their nation they’d save

Where are they all gone

Washed away by these evil times

Bought by the greed of money

Having lost their worth full lives

End this bloodshed

When I was an infant

Everything was so simple

Life was filled with love

Happiness and fun in ample

Warm under the protection

Of my family – my everything

Surrounded by love and affection

The world was beautiful and soothing

From the world of hugs and kisses

To the one filled with hatred

I am suddenly flung

Straight into hell, from the sacred

The destructive nature of man

Has ruined my innocence

Murder, theft, blood and war

Has shaken me off my senses

Oh how i long to go back

Into the arms of my loved ones

And hide away from it all –

The bombs, weapons and guns

This destruction I cannot stand

The game of flesh and blood

With my friends breathing their last

Lying dead in red mud

Oh dear Lord

As my  life wilts away

“End this bloodshed and war”

Is all I have to say

Change

I cannot hold onto now
For tomorrow is sure to come
Bringing with it
Another day to be done

The sand is slipping
As the night befalls
Another chapter ends
While another one calls

Time stops for no man
And so it shall be
“Accept” each day
For that is the key

Take me Wings of Change
Through life’s twists and turns
And onwards I must go
Ahead… with no return…

Dog days?

Dog days?

From wolves to dogs we changed their lives

And now they depend on us to survive

Then why do we see so many strays

Wounded and dejected in dirt they lay

Free in the forest they would have lived like lords

But man changed their tracks thinking he is God

In our society these dogs are ignored and abused

Man’s doings for which the poor soul is accused

So, to every man who owes to the “domesticated” creature

Realize that you have tried to tamper nature

Thus be responsible for the mistake of our ancestors made

Adopt a stray and help its worries fade
